the snowflake temple

When we were in Pinetop, Caleb's dad thought it would be fun to collect all the pictures and have a slideshow on the last day. I took that as a challenge and took a LOT of pictures. So I think I will do some different posts all from that trip. First, though, I want to share some pictures from our trip home. We took a detour and went to visit the Snowflake LDS Temple in the tiny town of Snowflake, AZ.
The temple is up on a hill and it is very pretty!
I am glad we went out of our way to check it out.

I took this picture to remember the peaceful feeling I feel when we are at the temple as a family.

I am not sure why I think this picture is so funny but it cracks me up!
It probably has something to do with this being the view of him I usually see.

This is so Kade.. he is always right in my face, especially if there is a camera or cell phone involved.

It was a Sunday so we had the temple mostly to ourselves. We just laid on a blanket and Kade had some lunch.

Kade really doesn't like the feeling of grass. It's the only thing that we have found that slows him down!

This is around the time when Kade started putting his arms up to get picked up.

Look at these two handsome guys. I am one lucky girl.
