first zoo trip

When we were in Colorado, Kade got to go to the zoo for the first time! 

The first stop was the giraffes. Kade took one look at them and started crying! I guess it would be pretty scary if you have never seen one before..

He saw that his cousins were okay and mustered up the courage to feed one of them!

I like the hippos. Does it surprise anyone that I like the really round ones? They are the cutest.

Dad was a lot of help to see all the animals. This is a picture of them checking out the penguins.

I am pretty sure that snake could eat Kade in one gulp! Yikes!

The zoo day ended when a huge storm came through. By the end we were SOAKED and glad to get into a dry car for the drive home.
