So.. here we are in Glendale! Caleb is just about done with his first year of dental school. We really are enjoying it up here! 

By the way, everyone told me it would be hotter here than in Tucson but I didn't really believe them.

Those few degrees make a difference! It also doesn't cool down at night, which we miss. We do, however, live in a nice area and there are far too many stores and restaurants nearby. :)

School is going well for Caleb. He has made friends that he has so much fun with and he really likes what he is doing. When he gets to practice what he learns by molding wax or on plastic teeth, he gets really excited about it! He has to take the written portion of the boards this summer but other than that, he has the summer off! We don't have any huge plans but we are both looking forward to spending time with Kade together. 

I get to stay home with Kade. I thought I might get a little crazy feeling cooped up at home but I do not feel that way at all! I have made a lot of friends that stay at home with their little ones too, so it has been fun getting to know them. I wouldn't trade this time I have at home with Kade for anything.

I recently watched a TV show where a new baby was born. Before I knew it, I was crying my eyes out telling Caleb that I can't believe how big Kade is and that I didn't want him to get any older! It really is amazing how fast they grow and learn and even more amazing to experience the truly huge measure of love that a mother has for her child.  

I have a feeling Kade will get his first tooth soon.. I have been pretty sad about it but I have to admit.. that little grin he has will be so cute with a tooth or two.
