Considering it has been so long, I decided I better make a post. This past summer was really busy with something like 8 weddings to attend! The most exciting was Allison and Mike's because we got to go all the way to St. Louis to celebrate! We really do love to travel and because we don't really have the money to spend on it, we pack everything we can into one vacation.
We went to Nauvoo, a few places in Saint Louis and we even got to visit our friends Nick and Stephanie while we were there. The trip was short, but fun. It makes me want to go back!

This is the Nauvoo, IL temple. It was beautiful! There is so much church history there. We went and drove around the city to see all the sites and we went on a couple of little tours including Brigham Young's home. We got to stay in a little historic hotel. (When I say little, I mean our room was probably 10ft x 10ft!) It was fun to see all the sights and feel the special spirit there.

We also went to Carthage Jail where the prophet Joseph Smith died. We saw the bullet holes and all. The picture of us outside is the window that he fell out of when he was shot. This picture right above is Caleb posing with Joseph and Hyrum Smith.

We went out to eat with our friends Nick and Stephanie and we stopped by the Saint Louis temple on the way back home.

I got to see lots of old friend who where there for the wedding the whole weekend. It was so nice to spend time with them and catch up.

We also went to the zoo the morning of the wedding where we saw lots of animals.
The bear in that tree was making Caleb feel particularly nervous.

I was one of three bridesmaids in the most beautiful wedding and reception I have ever seen.
(By the way, if you want to hear a really interesting story, ask one of us how I passed out during the wedding. That's right- as a bridesmaid, I literally passed out in the middle of the ceremony- stopping the show and all. And my biggest worry is that I would cry when I saw her coming down the aisle...)

After the wedding, we got to ride around in a limo and take pictures all over the city!

The reception was in this fabulous building on the 36 floor where you could see all of St. Louis!
We had a great time and can't wait to go back.
